BARBORA DE NUNES-CAMBRAIA
has been nominated for a prestigious Thalia Awards for the role Carmen at the Silesian Theatre. Barbora performs in the Czech Republic as well as abroad (Brazil, Japan, Thailand, Israel, Morocco, France, Germany et al.) and cooperates worldwide with conductors and orchestras. Her discography includes four CDs. She regularly performs together with the guitar duo Siempre Nuevo. In 2011 she sang the role of Carmen in the National Theatre in Prague. Since 2015 she has been working as a pedagogue of classical voice at the Teplice Conservatoire.
ONDŘEJ VALENTA
received his Master of Arts in Organ from Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the guidance of Pavel Černý in 2019.
He graduated from Prague Conservatory in 2014, where he studied in the class of prominent Czech organist Jan Hora and was also mentored by Ivana Bažantová in harpsichord and Jana Macharáčková in solo piano. Under the guidance of Monika Knoblochová at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Ondřej further honed his skills in playing the harpsichord.
In 2017/2018, he broadened his musical skills during a study program at the prestigious University Mozarteum Salzburg (prof. Hannfried Lucke) and in 2020/2021 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich (prof. Christine Schornsheim).
Alongside his activity as an interpreter, Ondřej works as a teacher in The Prague Conservatory. He publishes also classical music articles.
He successfully participated in several competitions: Organum regium in Pardubice and Bach Organ Autumn in Brno among others. During his studies he also took part in numerous master classes in Czech Republic and abroad (Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Liechtenstein) led by outstanding teachers (J. Tůma, M. Schmeding, P. Crivelaro, L. Lohmann, E. Wiersinga, T. Jellema, J. P. Griveau, S. Baier, K. Urbaniak).
Ondřej frequently performs with singers, instrumentalists, choirs and orchestras (Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, and others). He also regularly collaborates with flutist Eva Prchalová and violinist Šárka Petříková, with whom he founded the ensemble NiTrio. Their performances were recorded by Czech Television or Czech Radio among others. Besides his concert performances in Czech Republic, Ondřej also performed in France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Denmark and Poland.
Since 2016 he has been working as an organist and choirmaster at the Royal Collegiate Chapter of Ss. Peter and Paul at Vyšehrad, where he co-founded and directed the international festival Organ at Vyšehrad.
He was appointed as an organist at St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague since 2024.
